I am 18 years old and I've been drawing since I was about 2, and I have never attended any art classes in my entire life, I'm all self-taught.
I have an increasingly growing passion for art, both traditional and digital. I do not look at the art-industry as a competition but rather a sanctuary of knowledge and inspiration, and whenever I find a piece that I endorse, I do not let myself down because of my abilities not being as good as his or hers, but instead analyse it, learn from it and be motivated. Through this method I've learned to love art more than before, and I believe everyone, no matter the age, can achieve great result with this mindset.
As for what I like to draw I have a certain love for humans, both male and female. I find it very interesting to draw these and I love to improve whenever I get the chance. In addition I adore concept art and wish that with enough practice I might make i there one day.
Medieval times is one of my favorite time periods and I love to mix this with a bit of Fantasy to create something that pleases me. I practice a lot of female figures as well, mainly because I grew up only drawing males, so I haven't really touched the female anatomy until about 1-2 years ago, and I am really happy with the results so far.
But what you will find a lot of is my passion for the Crusades and everything related to them. I adore honoring these fantastic fighters with drawings of all the different orders; preferably the Knights Templar and the Hospitallers.
Besides that there will be a few fanarts here and there from everything ranging from Disney to Blizzard - whatever suits me to be honest.
You'll also occasionally find the character I simply call "The Beast" or "MrElagan" - featuring a psychopath dressed in a gasmask and sometimes a tophat, doing all kinds of interesting things, often rather inappropriate.
